CHROMAGUARD CUSTOM COATINGS

Delivery and Pickup

Effective date: 1st September 2026

This policy explains delivery options, freight quotes and warehouse collection for purchases from ChromaGuard Custom Coatings. Please read it alongside our Terms of Sale before placing an order.

1.  Who handles your order

ChromaGuard Custom Coatings is operated by A & B Building Services Pty Ltd, ABN 70 152 812 612 (we, us or our). Orders may be prepared, dispatched or made available for collection by our supplier. We remain your contact for delivery and pickup enquiries, even where a supplier books the freight.

Telephone: 0494 798 873

2.  Delivery options and service areas

Delivery options and charges appear at checkout for eligible addresses and orders. If no suitable option appears, contact us for a freight quote before purchasing. An unavailable rate does not necessarily mean delivery is impossible.

Select the option that matches your actual delivery address. Pickup is a collection option and does not include delivery. If you select pickup but later require delivery, we will confirm availability and agree the freight charge before arranging it.

3.  Freight quotes and charges

For a quote, provide the products, quantities, full address, contact details and access or unloading requirements. Costs depend on the consignment, dangerous-goods requirements, destination and service. Tell us about restricted access or the need for special unloading equipment.

Charges are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Delivery and known required handling charges are shown at checkout or in your quote before you agree. Quote validity is stated in the quote.

We will not automatically debit additional freight charges after payment. If the requested service or information changes, we will explain any proposed additional cost and seek your agreement before proceeding. This does not give us a right to increase an accepted price merely because our own freight cost changes.

4.  Preparation and delivery timing

An order receipt is not a dispatch or collection notice. Payment is required before dispatch or pickup unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Lead times may include stock procurement, tinting and preparation, followed by dispatch and carrier transit. We will communicate the expected timing for your order and any material delay. Timeframes are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. Contact us before ordering if you need goods for a particular date.

If we cannot supply an accepted order, we will discuss an agreed alternative or refund the unavailable items and associated delivery charges. We will not substitute products or impose extra charges for split deliveries without your agreement. Your legal rights relating to delay or non-delivery remain unaffected.

5.  Warehouse pickup

Pickup is available for eligible orders from supplier warehouses in Sydney and Melbourne, subject to stock at the selected location. Choose the intended collection location when ordering. Contact us before changing locations or sending your own carrier.

Wait for our ready-for-pickup confirmation before travelling. It will provide the collection address, hours and instructions. Supplier warehouses may operate under a different business name and are not necessarily ChromaGuard shops or walk-in showrooms.

Bring your order reference and any identification or authority specified in the collection instructions. Tell us if someone else will collect on your behalf. Check the products, quantities and visible condition at collection where safe and practical. This check does not remove rights relating to problems discovered later.

If you cannot collect as arranged, contact us to agree another time. Any collection deadline or storage charge must be disclosed and agreed in advance; this policy does not impose an automatic storage fee or forfeiture of uncollected goods.

6.  Dangerous goods and transport requirements

Some coating products are classified as dangerous goods and may require specialist transport. Requirements depend on the actual product and quantity. Check the applicable Safety Data Sheet (SDS), and contact us if you need it before ordering or collection.

For pickup or customer-arranged transport, ensure the vehicle, carrier and handling arrangements are suitable for the goods and comply with applicable requirements. Follow the SDS and warehouse instructions. Collection may need to be postponed if safe release cannot be arranged; contact us to discuss an alternative.

Do not assume goods can be left unattended. An unattended delivery must be expressly agreed and suitable for the product, carrier and location. A general authority to leave does not override safety requirements.

7.  Receiving goods and failed deliveries

Provide accurate address, contact and access details. Ensure an authorised recipient and any agreed unloading arrangements are available. Delivery to a recipient you nominate counts as receipt, without removing rights relating to damaged, defective or incorrect goods.

If a failed delivery results from incorrect information you supplied or an agreed access requirement not being met, we may request the reasonable additional carrier cost. We will explain and agree any re-booking charge before proceeding. We will not charge you for our own or our fulfillment provider’s error.

8.  Missing, damaged or incorrect goods

Contact us promptly if an order has not arrived within its expected time-frame, or if goods are missing, incorrect, damaged or leaking. Provide your order reference and a description of the issue. Photograph goods and packaging only if safe, and note visible damage with the carrier where practical. Do not handle a leaking container merely to obtain evidence.

Keep labels and packaging where safe and practical. Prompt reporting helps us investigate, but there is no short reporting deadline under this policy that automatically removes statutory rights. Contact us before returning coatings so appropriate transport can be arranged; dangerous goods may require a specialist carrier.

We will investigate with the warehouse or carrier and arrange the appropriate resolution. Dispatch alone does not end our responsibility for delivery we arrange. Nothing in this policy excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
